Description
This adjustable strap is used to secure your rods during tricky surf transitions.
If you think there is a chance you could ‘turtle’ when coming in through surf, then remove your reels (so you won’t need to service them later if they end up submerged), then feed the rod tips under the bungee on the bow and secure the butt ends under the strap and tighten down.
The strap is held in place by two stainless steel bolts that come with the kit.
When drilling the holes for the 5mm bolts, use a 4mm drill to provide a tight fit.
